Problem Note 53008: The DOSUBL function might return an error when creating a read-only macro variable
The following error is written to the SAS® log when you use the READONLY option in a %GLOBAL or %LOCAL statement within the DOSUBL function, and a read-only macro variable has already been created:
ERROR: The variable A was declared READONLY and cannot be modified or re-declared.
For example, the following sample code generates the error:
%global / readonly a=100;
data _null_;
rc = dosubl('%global / readonly b=200;');
run;
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
